Dane Parker, DC, ARNP

Essentially the beating heart of Trinity Medical Group, Dr. Dane Parker cares for the practice as if it was his family—and in a very real sense, it is. Whether you have seen one of our providers for years or you walk through the door for the first time as a new patient, you’ll be greeted with the same sense of welcome from our staff, providers, and not least by Dr. Parker himself.

Born and raised in in Warren, Ohio, Dane Parker graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri, as well as becoming an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. A consummate primary care provider, Dr. Parker specializes in diabetic, cardiac, and endocrine management as well as possessing extensive experience in musculoskeletal care. The body is a multi-systemed, complex machine, and treating one ailment or area, he believes, does a disservice to the body as a whole; his goal is to treat and improve the health of the whole body, and consequently, the overall quality of life for his patients.

Dr. Parker and his wife, Tracy, have five children and five grandchildren, several of whom have followed his example and pursued a career in healthcare–including Dr. Adam Parker, who also serves at Trinity Medical Group. “Medicine is in our blood,” he says, “as there are three medical doctors and a pharmacist in the family so far.” Be it camping in Glacier or Banff National Park or fishing in a local lake, he loves to spend time with his family—especially outdoors.  “Connecting to the beauty of nature forces us to realign our perspectives,” he says, “reminding us of who we are, where we came from, and why we were created.” He loves to travel to new and exciting destinations but has a deep love for the Lakeland community he proudly calls home. “The faith community is so deep and rich,” he says, “and it permeates the city.”

He’s not all work and no play. When he’s not with patients our outdoors with his family, you can find Dr. Parker cheering on the Oakland Raiders or jamming to some folk-rock. If he could have one person over for dinner, living or dead, he would host Jesus, no doubt leading to some spiritual discussions over plenty of veal parmesan. And if you seem him around, ask him about a special skill that he has—he may wiggle his ears for you.

When you walk into Trinity Medical Group, any provider you see is going to give you considerate, attentive, and quality care. As the founder of this practice and the curator of these providers, Dr. Parker insists that this is how patients are treated: like family. His healthcare philosophy and mission are simple:  “I find the human body a wonderful and amazing creation and I am fascinated by its workings. We were created to be without sickness, and as physicians, we fight to bring a slice of heaven to earth by pushing back disease.”
