(Lakeland, FL) — Lakeland Spine Center and Trinity Medical Group proudly announce the accomplishment of Dr. Dane Parker and Dr. John Hopkins as they have completed and passed their Nurse Practitioner Exams, awarding them the credentials of Board-Certified Advanced Family Nurse Practitioners.
By continuing their education, perfecting their skills, and receiving advanced medical credentials, Dr. Parker and Dr. Hopkins are able to provide exceptional care to their patients. They are now Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioners and will be incorporating primary care into the scope of their practice at Trinity Medical Group, in addition to their roles as Chiropractic Physicians at Lakeland Spine Center. Dane Parker, DC, ARNP and John Hopkins, DC, ARNP join two other physicians, Adam Parker, D.O. and Brian Patrick, M.D. at Trinity Medical Group and are accepting new appointments.
Nurse practitioners treat patients by conducting physical exams and ordering tests for interpretation. They can provide a recommendation and diagnosis for a wide range of acute and chronic diseases and provide appropriate treatment for patients, including medication prescriptions.
Dr. Parker has over 25 years of experience as a local chiropractor and is excited to take this next step in his medical career. Parker is available for routine physicals and wellness care in addition to all aspects of family medicine.
Dr. Hopkins’ new credentials and 12 years of experience allow Lakeland Spine Center to increase their scope of practice to better care for patients. Currently, Dr. Hopkins provides Interventional Pain Management with trigger points and nerve blocks, prescriptions for medications deemed necessary by the provider, and additional chiropractic care. He will continue to practice chiropractic care as well as provide other specialized services at Lakeland Spine Center.
